The search has officially begun to find the next dean for the William S. Richardson School of Law<\/a> at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Search Advisory Committee<\/a> was previously announced, and now the official job announcement has been posted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Noreen Mokuau<\/strong>, dean of the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work<\/a>, is chairing the search advisory committee, whose members include chairs, faculty, staff and students from several UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa units, as well as representatives from the Kualiʻi<\/span> Council, alumni and legal community.<\/p>\n

The committee will recommend finalists to Provost<\/a> Michael Bruno<\/strong>, who then will recommend a nominee to UH<\/abbr> President<\/a> David Lassner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Review of applications is expected to begin in August 2019 and will continue until the position is filled.<\/p>\n

Dean Avi Soifer<\/strong> announced his retirement<\/a> in March after 16 years in the leadership position.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
