on Saturday, September 22.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>More than 50 cities across the country will be celebrating the benefits of electric vehicles in observance of the second annual National Plug In Day on Sunday, September 23.<\/p>\n<p>Maui&#8217;s electric vehicle, or &ldquo;<abbr title=\"electric vehicle\">EV<\/abbr>,&rdquo; drivers and enthusiasts will participate in Maui&#8217;s first celebration of National Plug In Day with events on Friday, September 21, and Saturday, September 22.<\/p>\n<p>Events on Maui are organized by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maui.hawaii.edu\"><abbr>UH<\/abbr> Maui College<\/a> MauiEVA Project and the Maui Electric Auto Association to highlight the fun, clean-air benefits and cost-savings of electric
