UH<\/abbr> Hilo Men\u2019s Tennis team<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In the best season ever for University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo Men\u2019s Tennis<\/a>, the team tied for third place in the country after advancing to the semifinals of the NCAA<\/abbr> Division II<\/abbr> Men\u2019s Tennis Championships in May at Sanlando Tennis Center, Florida.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> Hilo\u2019s magical run through the postseason came to an end at the hands of the No. 1 team in the nation. Barry (Florida) improved to 25-1 on the season with a 4-0 win over the Vulcans in the semifinals of the championships.<\/p>\n

“We battled hard against the premier program in Division II<\/abbr>,” said Vulcan head coach Kallen Mizuguchi<\/strong>. “I believe we showed that we belong. It was an incredible season. This team is very close and that really played a big role in our success this year.”<\/p>\n
