With three teams finishing in the Top 5 of their respective NCAA<\/abbr> Championships, the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa Athletics department<\/a> jumped to No. 46 in the latest Learfield IMG<\/abbr> College<\/a> Directors\u2019 Cup Standings.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> Mānoa moved up 49 places by accumulating 205 points in the spring season\u2019s first three sports. Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> was runner-up in men\u2019s volleyball (90 points), top four in beach volleyball (55 points), and quarterfinalist in women\u2019s water polo (60 points) to tie with USC<\/abbr> for the most points during that span.<\/p>\n

With its 46th place ranking, UH<\/abbr> Mānoa is tops in the Big West Conference and has the fourth-highest point total among non-Power 5 conferences trailing only BYU<\/abbr> (West Coast Conference, 19th), Princeton (20th, Ivy League) and Denver (41st, Summit League).<\/p>\n

The department\u2019s highest all-time Directors’ Cup ranking is No. 53 set in 2007–08, the same year UH<\/abbr> collected its highest-ever point total (385).<\/p>\n
