Five University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa<\/a> men’s volleyball student-athletes were selected for the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA<\/abbr>) All-America teams, including a record four who were named to the first team.<\/p>\n

Outside hitter Stijn van Tilburg<\/strong>, opposite Rado Parapunov<\/strong>, libero Gage Worsley<\/strong> and setter Joe Worsley<\/strong> were picked to the first team while middle blocker Patrick Gasman<\/strong> was selected to the second team.<\/p>\n

Van Tilburg, earned his third first team award. The team’s leading attacker Parapunov, was an honorable mention selection last season. Joe Worsley was a second-team All-American last season. Gage Worsley ranks No.<\/abbr> 5 nationally and first in the Big West in digs per set. Gasman, an honorable mention All-American last season, is No.<\/abbr> 2 nationally in blocking.<\/p>\n

The All-Americans will receive their awards at the National Collegiate Athletic Association banquet on Wednesday, May 1, in Long Beach, California.<\/p>\n
