The April 2019 event, held in <span aria-label=\"Kauai\">Kaua&#699;i<\/span> <abbr title=\"Community College\">CC<\/abbr>\u2019s Performing Arts Center, was part of the judiciary\u2019s Courts in the Community program to provide students with opportunities to learn more about the judiciary\u2019s role in government and in resolving disputes.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This is just a fantastic venue,&rdquo; said <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Supreme Court Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald. &ldquo;We\u2019re able to bring together students from across the island. Also, we\u2019re very excited to have business law students here from <span aria-label=\"Kauai\">Kaua&#699;i<\/span> Community College.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>To prepare, students studied a curriculum developed by the King Kamehameha <abbr title=\"roman numeral five\">V<\/abbr> Judiciary History Center and students at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.hawaii.edu\/\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M&#257;noa William S.
