It is one of six annual accepted student receptions held in California and Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>About 425 high school seniors and their families from the Los Angeles area met school representatives to learn more about <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa&#8217;s array of academic and student life programs.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I chose <abbr>UH<\/abbr> because they have an amazing marine biology program and arts program and that&#8217;s what I am looking forward to studying in the future,&rdquo; said Emma Goldberg, a high school senior from Pasadena who has been accepted at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa.
