Blaisdell Center\u02bbs Concert Hall, as they applauded and rose to their feet.<\/p>\n<p>They were the fortunate witnesses of the March 28, 2019 world premiere of <em>Raise Hawaiki<\/em>, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience a collaborative artistic interpretation of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hokulea.com\/\">Polynesian Voyaging Society\u2019s M&#257;lama Honua worldwide voyage<\/a>, composed by the <a href=\"http:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a>\u2019s award-winning <strong>Michael-Thomas Foumai<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/hawaiisymphonyorchestra.org\/\"><span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Symphony Orchestra<\/a> performed with the <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> Choral society, joined by choirs from <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa and with choral participation from <span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> Community College and <abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>. Performers also joined from the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Youth Opera Chorus and community choirs.
