As we continue to provide technical assistance to Puerto Rico, tools like this can help determine the best types and locations of generation. #<abbr>NASEO<\/abbr>Outlook19&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The student-built project is called the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Advanced Visualization Environmental Nexus (<abbr>HAVEN<\/abbr>). It can show land ownership, and photovoltaic and windmill buildouts over time, among other data projected across a topographical map of the island of <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>. It\u2019s a collaborative effort,&rdquo; said <abbr>HAVEN<\/abbr> main developer James Hutchison, a <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa computer science undergraduate student. &ldquo;It\u2019s great. I\u2019m definitely proud of it.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><abbr>HAVEN<\/abbr> supports thousands of pages of data from the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> State Energy Office and Hawaiian Electric Industries.
