Haugen<\/strong> won first place in short-form improv.<\/li>\n<li>Tech Olympics: <strong>Dylan Chace Lee<\/strong>, <strong>Qalil Ismail<\/strong>, <strong>Jonah Bobilin<\/strong>, <strong>Mike Poblete<\/strong> and <strong>Jorin Young<\/strong> won second place for technical theater challenges.<\/li>\n<li><abbr title=\"Stage Directors and Choreographers Society\">SDC<\/abbr> directing initiative: <strong>Kat Altman<\/strong>, <strong>Malia Wessel<\/strong>, <strong>Annastasia Fiala-Watkins<\/strong> and <strong>Emily Steward<\/strong> won regionally and will move on to compete in the national competition in April.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Participants:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Irene Ryan competition: <strong>Malia Wessel<\/strong>, <strong>KoDee Martin<\/strong>, <strong>Michelle Huynh<\/strong> and <strong>Dean Mo<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Musical theater scholarship auditions: <strong>Jorin Young<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The national devising theater project: <strong>Keola Simpson<\/strong>, <strong>Jorin Young<\/strong>, <strong>Yunshan Feng<\/strong>, <strong>Melisa Orozco Vargas<\/strong>, <strong>Robert Sanchez<\/strong>, <strong>Annastasia Fiala-Watkins<\/strong>, <strong>Michelle Huynh<\/strong>, <strong>Dean Mo<\/strong>, <strong>Thea Wigglesworth<\/strong> and <strong>Mike Poblete<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>John Cauble Award for Outstanding Short Play (one act): <strong>Malia Wessel<\/strong>, <strong>Tyler J.
