The dashboard is a key component to <abbr>HIDOE<\/abbr> and the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2018\/10\/02\/cash-for-college-challenge\/\">Cash for College Challenge<\/a> aimed at increasing <abbr>FAFSA<\/abbr> application completion.<\/p>\n<p><abbr>FAFSA<\/abbr> applications by high school seniors is a critical measure that serves as one predictor for college entrance. Since the opening of the <abbr>FAFSA<\/abbr> application period on October 1, 2018, 42 percent of high school seniors have completed their applications as of January 11.
