The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says the world is headed for painful problems sooner than expected<\/a>, and the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> is responding to the global call for solutions through research, teaching and curriculum development, service and stakeholder activism on issues of sustainability.<\/p>\n

“These pressing challenges call for us all to learn what we can do to take empowered action to help our communities solve these problems,” said Matthew K. Lynch<\/strong>, University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> System sustainability coordinator. “We encourage all UH<\/abbr> students and personnel to connect with their amazing campus sustainability committees to learn more and engage!”<\/p>\n

Events are scheduled across UH<\/abbr> campuses this month to help increase awareness and educate campus communities not only on the challenges of climate change, sustainability and resilience, but about actions to contribute to its solutions:<\/p>\n
