Nearly 150 people packed into Cronies Bar and Grill in September for a chance to mingle with the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo<\/a> coaches, players and each other.<\/p>\n

Student-athletes from the Vulcans volleyball team, baseball team and men’s basketball team met with fans who also got a chance to hear from head coaches Gene Krieger<\/strong> (volleyball), G.E. Coleman<\/strong> (basketball) and Kallen Miyataki<\/strong> (baseball).<\/p>\n

“I want to thank the community for coming out and supporting our program,” said Athletic Director Patrick Guillen<\/strong>. “It was a great night to get to know our coaches and for them to interact with each other.”<\/p>\n

Plans are in the works for another mixer later in the school year, with coaches and student-athletes from other sports in attendance.<\/p>\n
