Classes and activities will be held as scheduled. <\/p>\n<p>The latest forecast from the National Weather Service has Olivia weakening as it passes over Maui and moves south of <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>. The storm may still bring strong wind gusts and potentially heavy rains to the island and its path has moved several times so remain informed.<\/p>\n<p>The university will send updates, if necessary and encourage everyone to consider their personal safety.<\/p>\n<p>Please follow the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prh.noaa.gov\/cphc\/\">National Weather Service<\/a>, other official agencies and local media for the latest weather news.<\/p>\n<p>All members of the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> community are urged to sign up for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/alert\"><abbr>UH<\/abbr> Alert<\/a> to receive emergency text alerts.
