The William S. Richardson School of Law was recognized as an institution of high scholarly impact<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A new report evaluating the impact of the scholarship produced by the faculty of America’s top law schools places the William S. Richardson School of Law<\/a> in 52nd place in the nation on the strength of law journal citations to publications by its faculty.<\/p>\n

The Scholarly Impact Study, conducted by four professors at the University of St. Thomas School of Law<\/a> in Minnesota, ranks the top third of all ABA<\/abbr>-accredited law schools.<\/p>\n

Principal author Gregory C. Sisk notes that the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>’s Law School has achieved Scholarly Impact Scores “well above the rankings assigned by U.S. News<\/em>.” Sisk also says that the law faculties ranked in the study “have concretely demonstrated a collective commitment to legal scholarship.”<\/p>\n

“We are gratified that the important scholarly work of our faculty is widely recognized,” said Richardson Law School Dean Avi Soifer<\/strong>. “On the other hand, this study does not include books and chapters published by law faculty members and our Law School has a particularly distinguished record in that category as well.”<\/p>\n

The study cites 10 Richardson Law School faculty members for their outstanding scholarly work and law journal citations—Denise Antolini<\/strong>, Hazel Beh<\/strong>, David Callies<\/strong>, Linda Krieger<\/strong>, Charles Lawrence, III<\/abbr><\/strong>, Justin Levinson<\/strong>, Mari Matsuda<\/strong>, Jill Ramsfield<\/strong>, Avi Soifer and Eric Yamamoto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
