All University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> campuses ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. for greatest racial and ethnic diversity among four-year and two-year institutions, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education\u2019s 2018 Almanac<\/em> diversity rankings.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> Hilo ranked number one for the most diverse four-year public university in the nation. UH<\/abbr> Maui College is third, UH<\/abbr> West Oʻahu<\/span> is fourth, and UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is sixth.<\/p>\n

The UH<\/abbr> Community Colleges ranked as the top six most diverse two-year public institutions in the nation. Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> CC<\/abbr> ranked number one followed by Windward CC<\/abbr>, Kauaʻi<\/span> CC<\/abbr>, Leeward CC<\/abbr>, Honolulu CC<\/abbr> and Kapiʻolani<\/span> CC<\/abbr>. <\/p>\n

The diversity index indicates, on a scale of 1 to 100, the probability that any two students at an institution are from different racial or ethnic groups.<\/p>\n
