Of those millions, more than 31,000 will be diagnosed with an HPV-related cancer this year. Despite those staggering figures and the availability of a vaccine to prevent the infections that cause these cancers HPV vaccination remains low in the U.S.

—By Nana Ohkawa

The University of Â鶹´«Ã½Cancer Center joins 69 other National Cancer Institute-designated institutions collectively recognizing insufficient vaccination as a public health threat.

[26
218,169,9
post-80719","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","tag-cancer","tag-uh-cancer-center","tag-uh-manoa","entry","has-media
["GET
