The festival is free and open to all ages. All art supplies are provided. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume or festive clothing with an oceanic art theme.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our celebration of the arts&#8212;fine, performing, and literary arts&#8212;is back, and it&#8217;s better than ever! This year we&#8217;ve added new activities, including a people parade called the &ldquo;Art Strut,&rdquo; where your can help create a sea creature puppet to parade with, or just show up and bring one to life. As usual, the festival features our award-winning theatre program in workshops and spontaneous performances,&ldquo; said festival co-chair and creator <strong>Ben Moffat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The festival&#8217;s emphasis is on &ldquo;playing&rdquo; and exploring artful interests. Great for all ages. Performances are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. (50 minutes).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gallery <span aria-label=\"Iolani\">&#699;Iolani<\/span><\/strong>&#8212;<em>FREE<\/em>, a new exhibit will feature the photography of Mark Hamasaki, highlighting the cultural impact of the construction of the H-3 freeway.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Imaginarium<\/strong>&#8212; (special festival entry fees)<br \/>\nThe H\u014dk\u016blani Imaginarium will be showing a family-friendly fulldome show <em>Secrets of the Dragon<\/em> and <em>Losing the Dark<\/em> <abbr title=\"Public Service Announcement\">PSA<\/abbr> and a live sky show with a nominal fee of $3 (30 minutes) at 12:15 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language Arts Oasis at Hale Manaleo<\/strong>&#8212;Poetry and story readings throughout the day with Joe Miller, Kami Shibai Storytelling, Henry Park and others.
