Photo by Orrin Nakanelua.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/windward.hawaii.edu\/\">Windward Community College<\/a> presents <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.windward.hawaii.edu\/paliku\/\">Love Local Style<\/a><\/em>, a collection of short plays about love in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> written by some of the state&#8217;s most talented local playwrights\u00a0in celebration of Valentine&#8217;s Day. <em>Love Local Style<\/em>\u00a0is directed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/windward.hawaii.edu\/people\/Taurie_Kinoshita\/\">Taurie Kinoshita<\/a><\/strong> and performed by Windward <abbr title=\"Community College\">CC<\/abbr> Theatre 260 students at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.windward.hawaii.edu\/paliku\/\">Palik\u016b Theatre<\/a>, February 16&#8211;25.<\/p>\n<p>Funny and tragic, moving and thought-provoking, <em>Love Local Style<\/em> captures the infinite variety of love, from romantic love to love of justice, from twisted love to filial love&#8212;different stories about radically different characters reflect the nuanced complexity of love in modern day <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the short plays in <em>Love Local Style<\/em> are original and world premieres.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Da Magic Bracelet<\/em> by <strong>Lee Tonouchi<\/strong>, da pidgin guerilla, follows Bobby and Angelica as Bobby tries to prove he could be boyfriend material.<\/li>\n<li>In <em>Silva Dala<\/em> by <strong>Sean T. C.
