UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa nursing master\u2019s degree graduates<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

U.S. News and World Report<\/em><\/a> has ranked the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene<\/a> at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> among the nation\u2019s best online graduate nursing programs. UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa was the only nursing school in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> to be ranked for online education.<\/p>\n

Nursing placed 35 out of 154 schools, ranking UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa in the 23 percentile. Last year, UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa nursing ranked 61 out of 144 schools.<\/p>\n

“National recognition of our online graduate programs solidifies our position as the leader in nursing education and research in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>,” said Dean Mary G. Boland<\/strong>. “UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa nursing continually strives for excellence, and we are so proud to be ranked among the nation\u2019s top 25 percent of nursing schools.”<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa nursing offers a master\u2019s degree in an online distance learning format. The Advanced Population Health Nursing program<\/a> is a distance-based master\u2019s degree for registered nurses who wish to practice in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>, on the U.S. mainland or in an international setting.<\/p>\n

The program focuses on population-level health, wellness, health promotion and disease prevention. Coursework is completed online and fieldwork is conducted in the student\u2019s own local community.<\/p>\n

The 30–39 credit program is designed to be completed in one year as a full-time student or in two years as a part-time student.<\/p>\n
