William S. Richardson School of Law<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Free public lectures on legal topics ranging from housing insecurity and eviction, to the rule of law in “Trumpian America,” will be held at William S. Richardson School of Law<\/a> at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> on Friday, January 12. The lectures are given by four outstanding women law professors and legal minds, including two former law school deans.<\/p>\n

Speakers include Martha Minow, the Frank Boas Visiting Professor, who served as dean of Harvard Law School from 2009 to 2017, and Kellye Testy, first woman dean of the University of Washington School of Law who led for eight years before becoming head of the Law School Admission Council.<\/p>\n

They will be joined by Alicia Alvarez from the University of Michigan Law School, and Lea VanderVelde from the University of Iowa College of Law.<\/p>\n

Practicing attorneys are eligible to earn continuing legal education credits for the two evening lectures.<\/p>\n
