The Saturday Farmers&#8217; Market will continue to operate from 7:30 to 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot project is in response to recent community discussions supporting an alternate farmers&#8217; market.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are excited to provide this alternate market to the community. The Tuesday Market is designed to be smaller than the Saturday Market, allowing the community to shop at a more leisurely pace with the benefit of great food for dinner,&rdquo; said <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Farm Bureau Federation President Dean Okimoto.<\/p>\n<p><span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> Community College Chancellor <strong>Leon Richards<\/strong> sees this pilot project as an opportunity to continue to grow the partnership between the campus and the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Farm Bureau Federation.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The education partnership with the Culinary Institute of the Pacific and the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Farm Bureau Federation is a model that works well. Both are statewide organizations with a common goal of strengthening <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span>&#8217;s farm to table vitality with increased food production and culinary arts professionals,&rdquo; Richards said.<\/p>\n<p>The <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Farm Bureau Federation is the owner-operator of four <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> Farmers&#8217; Markets, with the principal goal of supporting agriculture in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> by providing a venue for farmers in the state.
