Multimedia rights agreement with IMG<\/abbr><\/h2>\n

The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa Athletics Department<\/a> signed a 10-year multimedia rights agreement with IMG<\/abbr><\/a>. Under the agreement, IMG<\/abbr> will manage and market the sponsorship and multimedia rights associated with the school’s 21 athletics programs.<\/p>\n

“This partnership with IMG<\/abbr> holds the promise of taking our corporate partner program and multimedia rights to an even higher level and we\u2019re excited about that,” said Athletics Director David Matlin<\/strong><\/a>. “IMG<\/abbr> has a large national footprint across collegiate athletics that could open the way for new supporters of UH<\/abbr> Athletics.”<\/p>\n

Official airline partner Hawaiian Airlines<\/h2>\n

Hawaiian Airlines<\/a> has signed a one-year agreement to become the official airline partner of the UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Athletics. Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>\u2019s largest and longest-serving carrier will welcome onboard student-athletes, coaches and staff from all 21 UH<\/abbr>-M\u0101noa sports teams as they travel between Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> and North America to compete during the 2017–18 season.<\/p>\n

“As Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>\u2019s hometown carrier, we are delighted to extend our support for our University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa student-athletes and their staff with this exclusive agreement,” said Peter Ingram, executive vice president and chief commercial officer for Hawaiian Airlines. “We look forward to delivering our authentic Hawaiian in-flight hospitality so they may arrive rested and ready for game time.”<\/p>\n

“This agreement is a difference maker for UH<\/abbr> Athletics as it will lead to significant savings,” said Matlin. “We\u2019ve had a very special relationship with Hawaiian Airlines over the years and are proud our teams will continue to fly Hawaiian.”<\/p>\n
