Join the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa community for Welina M\u0101noa<\/a>, a free kick-off event to mark the start of the new school year, on Monday, August 21, 3:30–6 p.m. Enjoy great food, live music featuring the Tuahine Serenaders, KTUH<\/abbr> DJ<\/abbr> Mermaid, UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa pep band and cheerleaders and activities. <\/p>\n

Wear green and white to show your school spirit and enter to win an iPad Air2, Beats Solo2 headphones and Oakley sunglasses. There will be special prizes for new students.<\/p>\n

The entire campus community is invited to join in the fun at Campus Center, Kuykendall Lawn and Legacy Path to welcome the new students to the UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa ʻohana<\/span>. There will also be a one-stop shop resource fair highlighting more than 85 student groups, student services and campus departments. <\/p>\n

Special guests include Rainbow Warriors Head Football Coach Nick Rolovich<\/strong><\/a> and UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa graduate and Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> News Now traffic reporter Lacy Deniz<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
