Ronald E. Cambra<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Ronald E. Cambra<\/strong>, University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> M\u0101noa assistant vice chancellor for undergraduate education, has won the\u00a0Michael C. Holen Pacesetter Award<\/a> from the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA)<\/a>: The Global Community for Academic Advising as part of the 2017 Global Awards Program for Academic Advising.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0award recognizes executive officers, provosts\u00a0and academic or student affairs officers who exemplify a commitment to academic advising, and who are\u00a0advocates for advising, students\u00a0and advisors across the institution.<\/p>\n

“The Holen Award belongs to everyone dedicated to making UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u00a0the magnificent institution it is becoming,” said Cambra. “I have had the privilege of working with some of the most dedicated, committed\u00a0and unselfish colleagues as we work toward improving the M\u0101noa experience for all students. It takes dedication and team work to accomplish our goals. Mahalo to all.”<\/p>\n

Cambra will accept\u00a0his award in St. Louis, Missouri, during the NACADA<\/abbr> Annual Conference this fall.<\/p>\n
