The\u00a0University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span><\/a> has partnered with the Pearson learning company<\/a>\u00a0to reduce the cost of course materials for UH<\/abbr> students across the state.<\/p>\n

Through the UH<\/abbr> Interactive Digital Access Program (IDAP), faculty across the 10 campuses will have the option to provide students with streamlined access to Pearson’s digital learning materials from campus bookstores by the first day of class.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> piloted its IDAP<\/abbr> initiative in fall 2016 and spring 2017. The full launch with Pearson will begin in summer 2017 and fall 2017.<\/p>\n

“We launched the IDAP<\/abbr> initiative, based on several studies that indicate the lack of access to course materials negatively impacts student academic performance in the classroom,” said Tricia Ejima<\/a><\/strong>, director of the UH<\/abbr> Bookstore System<\/a>. “Our IDAP<\/abbr> initiative, in partnership with Pearson and other leading educational content providers, is designed to improve outcomes for our students by providing them equitable, easy access to essential course materials they need to succeed.”<\/p>\n
