An estimated 2,100 students participated in the commencement ceremonies.<\/p>\n<h2>Catherine Brianne Gardiner<\/h2>\n<div class=\"responsive-video-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"620\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_KO6uZg3trw\" title=\"Youtube video player\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><strong>Catherine Brianne Gardiner<\/strong>, the morning ceremony speaker, graduated with a degree in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/sls\/\">second language studies<\/a> and intends to join the Peace Corp and teach English as a second language. Gardiner wants to empower her students to cultivate important relationships and create bridges between individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n<h2>Shiraz Dole<\/h2>\n<div class=\"responsive-video-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"620\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nx5faMrsK8w\" title=\"Youtube video player\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><strong>Shiraz Dole<\/strong>, the afternoon ceremony speaker, graduated with a degree in <a href=\"http:\/\/shidler.hawaii.edu\/majors\/entrepreneurship\">business administration in entrepreneurship<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/shidler.hawaii.edu\/majors\/international-business\">international business<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/shidler.hawaii.edu\/\">Shidler College of Business<\/a>.
