Windward Community College<\/a> student musical talent and musical guests Hōkū Zuttermeister, Teresa Bright and Mona Joy Lum will be featured in a week of concerts at Palikū Theatre<\/a> and Hale Aʻo. All performances are FREE and open to the public.<\/p>\n

Hanauna Mele Concert Series<\/strong>
\nUnder the direction of Kamuela Kimokeo<\/a><\/strong>
\nMay 1, 7 p.m. at the Palikū Theatre\u2028<\/p>\n

Featuring slack key and ʻukulele students from Windward CC<\/abbr> and UH<\/abbr> West Oʻahu<\/span>.\u2028\u2028 Special guest artist Hōkū Zuttermeister.<\/p>\n

Spring Piano Concert<\/strong>
\nUnder the direction of So Jin Kimura<\/a><\/strong>
\u2028May 4, 7 p.m. at the Palikū Theatre<\/p>\n

Piano students from the Windward CC<\/abbr> piano program will perform solos, duets, trios and quartets of favorite classics.<\/p>\n

Hawaiian Music Concert<\/strong>
\nUnder the direction of Kaʻala Carmack<\/a><\/strong>
\nMay 4, 7 p.m. at the Hale Aʻo (Hawaiian Studies Halau Mele)<\/p>\n

Featuring student soloists from the Windward CC<\/abbr> voice classes singing traditional Hawaiian mele with Hawaiian instruments accompanying students from the introduction to Hawaiian music class. Special guest artist Teresa Bright.<\/p>\n

Vocal Music, Slack Key Guitar and ʻUkulele Concert<\/strong>
\nUnder the direction of Kaʻala Carmack and Ron Loo
\nFriday, May 5, 7 p.m. at the Palikū Theatre<\/p>\n

Featuring student ensembles and soloists in an eclectic program of voice, choir, ʻukulele and slack key guitar. Special guest artist Mona Joy Lum.<\/p>\n
