Dean<\/strong> (Honolulu County, term ends 2017), president and chief executive officer of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centralpacificbank.com\/\">Central Pacific Bank<\/a> and Central Pacific Financial Corporation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Benjamin A. Kudo<\/strong> (At-Large Representative, term ends 2017), chief financial officer and the manager of the land use, administrative and environmental law group of Imanaka Kudo and Fujimoto<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tom H. Shigemoto<\/strong> (<span aria-label=\"Kauai\">Kaua&#699;i<\/span> County, term ends 2017), vice president of planning for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abprop.com\/\">A&#038;B Properties, Inc.<\/a>, the real estate development division of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alexanderbaldwin.com\/\">Alexander and Baldwin, Inc.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Jeffrey T. Acido<\/strong> (Student Regent, term ends 2014), a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.manoa.hawaii.edu\"><abbr>UH<\/abbr> M&#257;noa<\/a> graduate student working towards an <abbr>MA<\/abbr> in Asian studies, focusing on the Philippines with a concentration in Ilokano<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Members of the board who were renewed are <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> County representatives <strong>Carl A. Carlson, Jr.<\/strong> (term ends 2016), founder of <span aria-label=\"Huehue\">Hu&#699;ehu&#699;e<\/span> Ventures, a real estate consulting and agricultural property management firm, and <strong>Barry T. Mizuno<\/strong> (term ends 2013), founder of <abbr>BTM<\/abbr>, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in renewable energy in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>. <\/p>\n<p>Other current members of the <abbr>UH<\/abbr><abbr> Board of Regents who are continuing include:<\/abbr><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eric K. Martinson<\/strong>, Honolulu County (term ends 2014)<\/li>\n<li><strong>James H.Q. Lee<\/strong>, Honolulu County (term ends 2014)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Artemio C. Baxa<\/strong>, Maui County (term ends 2013)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Michael A. Dahilig<\/strong>, At-Large (term ends 2013)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chuck Y. Gee<\/strong>, Honolulu County (term ends 2015)<\/li>\n<li><strong>John C.
