One World, One ʻOhana is the theme of this year’s University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa International Night<\/a> on March 17 at the Campus Center Ballroom (3rd floor). It represents the hope that everyone can all unite together as one—become one ʻohana. This annual event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

International Night promotes cross-cultural understanding and celebrates cultural diversity at UH<\/abbr> Mānoa. Students, faculty and staff will share their history through stage performances and interactive cultural booths representing the countries of Bangladesh, Canada, China, Germany, India, Japan, Micronesia, Nepal, Philippines, Russia, Samoa, Thailand and Vietnam. <\/p>\n

International Night is the signature event of the International Student Association<\/a> (ISA), which works closely with International Student Services. ISA<\/abbr> is a registered independent student organization at UH<\/abbr> Mānoa that focuses on leadership training for international students. The 2017 International Night Co-chairs are Joyce Chou<\/strong>, a senior in travel industry management, and Gabriel Elacion<\/strong>, a sophomore in mechanical engineering.<\/p>\n

International Night sponsors include the Campus Center Board and Activities Council; SEED<\/abbr> Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access and Success; Student Activities and Program Fee Board; UH<\/abbr> Bookstore; Hilton Hawaiian Village Waik\u012bk\u012b Beach Resort; ISO<\/abbr> Student Health Insurance; Teapresso; The Ngon Restaurant; Shaka Shaka Tea Express and Zippy’s. <\/p>\n
