Renowned real estate developer Jack E. Myers highlights the inaugural Shidler College of Business<\/a> Real Estate Lecture Series on April 20, 6 p.m., at the Waiʻalae<\/span> Country Club.<\/p>\n

As chairman and CEO<\/abbr> of the Myers Development Company<\/a> located in San Francisco, Myers has developed an extensive portfolio of commercial, residential, hospitality and industrial properties in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> and California valued at over $1.7 billion. Since 1974, Myers has played a large role in helping to shape Honolulu’s skyline with such iconic buildings as the First Hawaiian Center, Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Prince Hotel, Waikīkī Trade Center and One Archer Lane to name a few.<\/p>\n

He is a 1970 graduate of the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa Shidler College of Business and a 1998 inductee into the college’s Hall of Honor.<\/p>\n

A. Kam Napier, editor-in-chief of Pacific Business News<\/a> will moderate the discussion. Pacific Business News is the media partner for the event. The event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n

“This lecture series will provide local professionals with a rare opportunity to hear and learn from visionary real estate leaders from around the world,” says Vance Roley<\/a><\/strong>, dean of the Shidler College of Business. <\/p>\n

Eddie also founded the Eddie Flores Real Estate School and Sun Pacific Realty. He has been active in the real estate industry for many decades and was named the Educator of the Year by Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Association of Realtors in 1991.<\/p>\n

“This lecture series would not be possible without the vision and support of Eddie and Elaine. Eddie is a successful entrepreneur and an accomplished real estate investor, author and educator. The funding of this real estate lecture series is a testament to his passion for real estate,” says Roley<\/p>\n
