Ronell Badua<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc.<\/a> (NFPA) is pleased to announce that Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> resident and Kapiʻolani<\/span> Community College<\/a> alumnus Ronell B. Badua<\/strong> has been elected Region I<\/abbr> director for the 2017–2018 term.<\/p>\n

Badua received his associate in science paralegal certificate from Kapiʻolani<\/span> CC<\/abbr> in fall\u00a02014. He has served in a variety of positions for the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Paralegal Association, including president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, director of publications, director of professional development, board advisor and local association national affairs delegate to the NFPA<\/abbr> for eight consecutive years.<\/p>\n

Badua was recognized as the 2011 Paralegal of the Year by the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Paralegal Association, and in 2014 was awarded the Career Achievement Award for his outstanding and meritorious service to the legal community and paralegal profession. Susan Jaworowski<\/strong>, paralegal program director, said “Badua was a dedicated student who took advantage of every educational opportunity. He had an evident drive to succeed and has been deeply engaged in the Honolulu paralegal community.”<\/p>\n

Currently, Badua is a paralegal with the Department of the Corporation Counsel<\/a>, City and County of Honolulu and contributes his paralegal experience as the city’s transit paralegal working on the Honolulu Rail Transit Project<\/a>, the largest public works and first grade-separated fixed rail system in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>.<\/p>\n
