There will be cooking demonstrations, a kids climbing wall, entertainment, local product vendors, food stands, keiki crafts, Hawaiian games and hands-on educational activities.<\/p>\n<p>The festival is free and ample free parking is available. Mats, lawn chairs and coolers are welcome.<\/p>\n<p>New additions to the festival this year include a Create A Mural station and <span aria-label=\"Waianae\">Wai&#699;anae<\/span> Seariders robotics and <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> State Science Olympiad activities.<\/p>\n<h2>Festival highlights<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A solar powered race track with race cars propelled by solar panels for children to enjoy<\/li>\n<li>A 70-foot-long mural that will be created throughout the day by the children attending the festival and will be exhibited in Leeward&#8217;s Foyer Art Gallery during Earth Week<\/li>\n<li>Read-alouds and story telling by local librarians and student actors<\/li>\n<li>Story booths presented by students from the Leeward&#8217;s Hawaiian studies program<\/li>\n<li>Ewablue Worm Composting worm farming<\/li>\n<li>Free <abbr>CFL<\/abbr> light bulb exchange<\/li>\n<li>Book sales by Bess Press and N&#257; Mea Native Books<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The festival&#8217;s non-stop entertainment includes the <span aria-label=\"Ewa\">&#699;Ewa<\/span> Elementary School Choir, Leeward Jazz Ensemble, Leeward Choir, Ashley K. Simpson, Iroquois Point Band and M&#257;nana Elementary School Choir.
