Robel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M&#257;noa<\/a> Chancellor Search Advisory Committee has named a third finalist for the Â鶹´«Ã½M&#257;noa chancellor position. Lauren K. Robel will be participating in a final round of interviews on the M&#257;noa campus on January 23 and 24. Robel currently serves as executive vice president and provost at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiana.edu\/\">Indiana University Bloomington<\/a>. Before becoming provost, she served for a decade as dean of the <a href=\"http:\/\/law.indiana.edu\/\">Indiana University Maurer School of Law<\/a>. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/executivesearch\/manoa_chancellor\/\">Robel&#8217;s biography and <abbr title=\"curriculum vitae\">CV<\/abbr><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Robel was originally identified as a finalist and invited to campus at the same time as finalists John V. White and Sonny Ramaswamy, but was unable to accept the invitation at that time. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Search Advisory Committee is delighted that the campus community will have the opportunity to meet a third outstanding candidate, and looks forward to receiving their comments,&rdquo; said Search Advisory Committee Co-Chair <strong>David Karl<\/strong>, the director of the <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> M&#257;noa Center for Microbial Oceanography: Research and Education.<\/p>\n<p>The campus visit will include a series of meetings with campus stakeholders, as well as a public presentation. The public presentation will be on Tuesday, January 24 at 3:30 p.m. in the Architecture Auditorium and will be live streamed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/itunesu\/video-op-live\/?chancellor.sdp\">View the live stream<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The open forum provides an opportunity for the community to ask questions and learn more about Robel.
