The festival is free and open to the public of all ages. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume or festive clothing.<\/p>\n<p>A family friendly event and a unique interactive arts experience, the festival includes a free performance at Palik&#363; Theatre and fun hands-on opportunities to get involved in art, music, literature, theatre and movement. Food from shave ice to crepes and curry will be available.<\/p>\n<p>Windward art professors, instructors and their students will be on hand (with supplies provided) to assist those who want to express their creativity in a variety of ways&#8212;from painting, drawing and sculpting to moving, acting or making music, prints, masks, poetry and prose.<\/p>\n<h2>Festival Activities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8217;Ukulele workshops with Ron and Pomai Loo<\/li>\n<li>Music workshops with Sojin Kimura<\/li>\n<li>Garage Band workshops with Renee Arakaki<\/li>\n<li>Raku firing demonstration with Paul Nash<\/li>\n<li>Camera obscura with Mark Hamasaki<\/li>\n<li>Open drawing studio with Snowden Hodges and Norm Graffam<\/li>\n<li>Poetry with Janine Oshiro<\/li>\n<li>Stage combat with Nick Logue<\/li>\n<li>Mask making with Yukie Shiroma<\/li>\n<li>Screen printing with Rob Molyneux (bring your own shirt to be printed or buy one)<\/li>\n<li>Tie dye squares with Toni Martin<\/li>\n<li>Printmaking with the Honolulu Printmakers<\/li>\n<li>Glass blowing demonstrations with Dustin Hart<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Palik&#363; Theatre<\/h2>\n<p>Palik&#363; Theatre will feature a free performance at 2 p.m. of <em>How I Became a Pirate<\/em>, directed by Ron Bright, a musical version of the popular children&#8217;s book.<\/p>\n<h2>H&#333;k&#363;lani Imaginarium<\/h2>\n<p>The H&#333;k&#363;lani Imaginarium will also be showing <i>Secrets of the Dragon<\/i>, a family-friendly fulldome show with a nominal fee of $3.<\/p>\n<h2>Gallery &#699;Iolani<\/h2>\n<p>At Gallery <span aria-label=\"Iolani\">&#699;Iolani, an exhibit of Wayne Levin&#8217;s photos of Kalaupapa, <span aria-label=\"Molokai\u201d>Moloka&#699;i<\/span> will be on view.
