Kapiʻolani<\/span> Community College’s David Apostol, center, is presented his award by Board of Regents Chair Jan Sullivan and UH<\/abbr> President David Lassner.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kapiʻolani<\/span> Community College’s David Apostol<\/strong> was honored with the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>’s President’s Award for Excellence in Building and Grounds Maintenance. The award is given to an individual who has exhibited sustained superior performance in a maintenance, landscaping, custodial or trucking position.<\/p>\n

Apostol goes above and beyond his required job responsibilities, working tirelessly to ensure a beautiful campus, often working on weekends so as not to inconvenience the campus and its students.<\/p>\n

He is described as being a humble man, a committed team player who cares deeply about his colleagues and a consummate professional with a positive can-do attitude. <\/p>\n

Apostol is praised for his initiative in taking the lead on campus projects and promoting a proud sense of community among all.<\/p>\n
