Grab your beach chair or blanket and party on the Great Lawn at the 16th annual Windward Hoʻolauleʻa<\/span><\/a> on Saturday, October 1, 10 a.m.<\/abbr>–8 p.m.<\/abbr> at Windward Community College<\/a>. Windward Hoʻolauleʻa<\/span> is the largest annual event on the Windward side of Oʻahu<\/span> drawing up to 15,000 people islandwide.<\/p>\n

Entertainment<\/h2>\n

The free, family-friendly festival will feature the sounds of Brother Noland and friends, Weldon Kekauoha, Jerry Santos and Kamuela Kimokeo, Teresa Bright, Hawaiian Soul, hula by Chinky Mahoe’s Merrie Monarch award-winning halau and other top island entertainment.<\/p>\n

Windward CC<\/abbr> attractions<\/h2>\n

Enjoy face painting, Hawaiian woodcarving\u2013soap carving, brain gym, rocketry fun, Polynesian voyaging displays and much more. <\/p>\n

There will also be Imaginarium<\/a> shows, a Gallery ʻIolani<\/span><\/a> art exhibition and a silent auction. Enjoy arts and crafts by Lularoe, Nalei Designs, Pareu Tahiti, Homegrown Hawaiian, Dear Ashley Jewelry, LipSense, Baby Jolie’s Closet, Blue Bird Jewelry Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> and a number of additional booths.<\/p>\n

Food<\/h2>\n

ʻOno<\/span> food booths will include Fresh Catch, Hale o Crepes, Bubble Puff and Tea, Erin’s Shave Ice, Uncle Lani’s Poi Mochi, Uncle’s hand-made ice cream cookie sandwiches, Paradise Kettle Corn, Pacifico Pizza, Olay’s Thai Food Express, GP Hawaiian Foods, India Cafe,Uala Leaf Cafe and My Success Shoyu Chicken.<\/P><\/p>\n

Windward Hoʻolauleʻa<\/span> is coordinated by the K\u0101neʻohe<\/span> Business Group and Windward Community College and supported by community sponsors.<\/p>\n
