He is a senior consultant at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goldspringconsulting.com\/\">GoldSpring Consulting<\/a> and one of the founders of the Strategic Meetings Management program, which has become the standard for the meetings industry.<\/p>\n<p>Iwamoto also received the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpiweb.org\/\">Meeting Professionals International<\/a> (MPI) Recognizing Industry Success and Excellence Award for Meeting Industry Leadership during the <abbr>MPI<\/abbr> 2016 World Education Conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The award honors individuals who have positively changed the global meeting and event industry.
