Source: Center on the Family<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"clear-photo\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/uhfamily.hawaii.edu\/\">Center on the Family<\/a> at the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M&#257;noa and Homeless Programs Office of the <a href=\"http:\/\/humanservices.hawaii.gov\/\"><span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> State Department of Human Services<\/a> have released the <em>Homeless Service Utilization Report: <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> 2015<\/em>. Authored by Associate Specialist <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/uhfamily.hawaii.edu\/about\/faculty.aspx?id=7\">Sarah Yuan<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>Hong Vo<\/strong> <strong>Kristen Gleason<\/strong> and <strong>Javzandulam Azuma<\/strong>, the report provides the most current data on the utilization patterns of homeless services in the state during the 2015 fiscal year, based on agency-entered data in the Homeless Management and Information System (HMIS).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/uhfamily.hawaii.edu\/publications\/brochures\/789af_HomelessServiceUtilization2015.pdf\">Read the full report (PDF)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The 2015 report discusses overall patterns of inflow, outflow and return flow to the homeless service system and highlights factors associated with changes since last year. In addition to providing information on the usage of homeless service programs, the current report compares service outcomes among different homeless sub-populations.<\/p>\n<p>Thematic maps show geographic areas where people last resided before becoming homeless and where outreach services achieved tangible outcomes.
