The <span aria-label=\"Molokai\">Moloka&#699;i<\/span> native earned associate degrees in Hawaiian studies and liberal arts and worked at the center as a tutor.<\/p>\n<p>Ah Yee intends to become a teacher. &ldquo;What better way to give back to my community than becoming a teacher by helping the next generation find their way through this crazy world we live in.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;College has opened so many new doors for me. It has made me comfortable enough to stand before each and everyone of you today, and give a speech. Five years ago, you wouldn&#8217;t catch me dead up here.
