Honolulu Community College<\/a>, the University of Hawai\u02bbi<\/span> at M\u0101noa Institute for Astronomy<\/a> and Honolulu CC<\/abbr>\u2019s Hawaiian Center will be hosting a free public event to celebrate the unofficial fandom holiday of George Lucus\u2019s film Star Wars<\/em> on May 4, 6 p.m.<\/abbr> May the 4th Be with You will be held at Honolulu CC<\/abbr>\u2019s Hawaiian Center, Building 20<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The evening will feature Star Wars<\/em> themed presentations, star gazing, keiki activities, traditional Hawaiian navigation, cosplay, characters with the 501st Legion Hawai\u02bbi<\/span> and light saber demonstrations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a family friendly event and we encourage the public to come explore Honolulu Community College,\u201d shares Michael Ferguson<\/strong>, associate professor and division chair of natural sciences and math.<\/p>\n
