The three finalists are scheduled to participate over a two-day period of visits that covers department discussions; meetings with senior administrators, faculty, staff, students and internal and external constituents; and a public presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Campus and community members, as well as the general public, are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n<p>The campus visits of the three candidates have been scheduled as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Aloysius Helminck<\/strong>, visiting April 18&#8211;19<br \/>\nProfessor and (former) Head<br \/>\nDepartment of Mathematics<br \/>\nNorth Carolina State University<br \/>\nPublic Presentation: Tuesday, April 19, 3&#8211;4:15 <abbr title=\"after noon\">p.m.<\/abbr> in Crawford Hall Room 115<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jens-Christian Meiners<\/strong>, visiting April 21&#8211;22<br \/>\nProfessor of Physics and Biophysics and (former) Head<br \/>\nDepartment of Biophysics, College of Literature, Science and Arts<br \/>\nUniversity of Michigan<br \/>\nPublic Presentation: Friday, April 22, 3&#8211;4:15 <abbr title=\"after noon\">p.m.<\/abbr> in Crawford Hall Room 115<\/li>\n<li><strong>Michael Kruger<\/strong>, visiting May 2&#8211;3<br \/>\nAssociate Dean of Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences; Interim Chair, Department of Geophysics and Curators&#8217; Professor, Department of Physics and Astronomy<br \/>\nUniversity of Missouri &#8211; Kansas City<br \/>\nPublic Presentation: Tuesday, May 2, 3&#8211;4:15 <abbr title=\"after noon\">p.m.<\/abbr> in Crawford Hall Room 115<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;We were fortunate to have received a strong pool of highly qualified candidates.
