The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Bookstore System<\/a> is currently participating in Student Watch, a national research initiative that gauges college student attitudes and behaviors concerning course materials, online learning and technology.<\/p>\n

The second Student Watch survey this academic year is active now through March 20 at www.studentwatch.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Each UH<\/abbr> student that completes the survey will be entered into a national contest to win $1,000. One respondent from each UH<\/abbr> campus will also win a $50 UH<\/abbr> Bookstore gift card.<\/p>\n

Student Watch is funded by the NACS<\/abbr> Foundation, a subsidiary of the National Association of College Stores<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We are excited to take part in this national research initiative,” said Tricia Ejima<\/strong>, UH<\/abbr> Bookstores interim director. “On a local level, the results of the survey will help our nine bookstores better meet student needs and evaluate our performance.”<\/p>\n

The study is being conducted on more than 60 campuses across the U.S.<\/abbr> and Canada, with a focus on helping college stores better understand the evolution of course materials, how they can best support their students and how technology and online learning will play a role in the future of higher education.<\/p>\n
