Gallery ʻIolani<\/span><\/a> at Windward Community College<\/a> presents works in clay and bronze by Kauaʻi<\/span> native David Kuraoka, professor emeritus of art and former ceramics department head at San Francisco State University<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kuraoka was named a Living Treasure of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> by the Honpa Hongwanji Mission<\/a>, which honors those who have made outstanding contributions to Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Gallery ʻIolani<\/span> will hold a artist reception with Kuraoka on Sunday, January 31, 2–4 p.m. with an artist talk from 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Regular gallery hours are 1–5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Sunday. The gallery is closed on Saturdays. The exhibit is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
