Lori Ideta<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The National Association of Student Personnel Administrators<\/a> (NASPA<\/abbr>) Foundation has named Lori Ideta, interim vice chancellor for students at UH<\/abbr> Mānoa, as a “Pillar of the Profession” for her work in the student affairs and higher education community. NASPA<\/abbr> is the leading association for the advancement, health and sustainability of the student affairs profession and provides professional development, advocacy and research for 15,000 members in all 50 states, 25 countries and 8 U.S. territories.<\/p>\n

Ideta has been with the university for nearly 25 years, serving primarily in student affairs. As interim vice chancellor for students, Ideta directs the Office of Student Affairs<\/a> division that includes the Office of the Dean of Students; Enrollment Management; and Student Equity, Excellence and Diversity<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n
