The K\u0101neʻohe<\/span> Community College<\/a> Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM<\/abbr>) Program will be hosting the 6th Annual STEM<\/abbr> EXPO Opportunity Event on Thursday, November 19, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Kokiʻo<\/span> Building Mall.<\/p>\n

This event will promote career, degree, service and internship opportunities that are available to students who are interested in STEM<\/abbr> careers and related fields. The purpose of the event is to connect K\u0101neʻohe<\/span> CC<\/abbr> students to STEM<\/abbr> prospects, strengthen student success and enhance STEM<\/abbr> fields with future employees.<\/p>\n

This year’s expo will feature approximately 20 agencies, some will come from private industry like the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Conservation Alliance<\/a>, Kupu Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span><\/a> and HI<\/abbr> Capacity<\/a>, as well as programs from the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa’s<\/a> College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources<\/a>, College of Engineering<\/a> and School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The National Security Agency<\/a> and the Military and Veterans Program<\/a> will also be at the expo. Many units and programs at the K\u0101neʻohe<\/span> CC<\/abbr> will also provide information.<\/p>\n
