The presentations included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cCyber-<abbr>CANOE<\/abbr> 3D virtual reality environment\u201d by <strong>Jason Leigh<\/strong>, <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa professor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ics.hawaii.edu\/\">information and computer sciences<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u201cAnatomical 3D models on the zSpace virtual reality platform\u201d by <strong>Jesse Thompson<\/strong>, technical director for anatomical imaging at the <a href=\"http:\/\/jabsom.hawaii.edu\/\">John A. Burns School of Medicine<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u201cTelescope mirror technology for the solar industry\u201d by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifa.hawaii.edu\/\">Institute for Astronomy<\/a> Professor and MorphOptic co-founder <strong>Jeff Kuhn<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u201cRealistic brain phantom for <abbr>MRI<\/abbr> research and development\u201d by <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa <a href=\"http:\/\/www-ee.eng.hawaii.edu\/\">electrical engineering<\/a> graduate students <strong>Kyoko Fujimoto<\/strong> and <strong>Trent Robertson<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event was sponsored by <abbr>UH<\/abbr>\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/research\/otted\/\">Office of Technology Transfer and Economic Development<\/a>, <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s <a
