The developed curricula will address common core and <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> state standards for implementation in classrooms in early 2016.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the vast virtual resources available through the Library of Congress, the workshops will also include direct archival work in the <a href=\"http:\/\/uluulu.hawaii.edu\/\"><span aria-label=\"Uluulu\">&#699;Ulu&#699;ulu<\/span> Henry K. Giugni Moving Image Archive of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span><\/a> at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>. Teachers will learn about archival preservation, cataloguing and research, and the many online and material resources available through the <span aria-label=\"Uluulu\">&#699;Ulu&#699;ulu<\/span> Archive collections.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Library of Congress has an impressive collection of primary source materials in online formats, from maps to letters and diaries, to pictures,&rdquo; said Machosky. &ldquo;And there is a lot that is specifically relevant to <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span>.
