(HEMIC) <\/li>\n<li>Hawaiian Insurance and Guaranty Co. <\/li>\n<li><span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Independent Insurance Agents Association<\/li>\n<li>Island Insurance Co. <\/li>\n<li>Risk Placement Services<\/li>\n<li>TriCoast and Palomar Specialty Insurance Company<\/li>\n<li>Zephyr Insurance Co. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other gold and silver level sponsors donated $10,000 from the tournament as well as an additional $1,140 from National Interstate through a prize giveaway. The donation will be used for student scholarships and program development. <\/p>\n<p>The risk management and insurance certificate program at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> provides training for risk management, personal and commercial insurance professionals, and prepares students for licensure examination. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Once again, the Underwriters Association of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> has generously donated to <abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>, allowing the university to continue to offer scholarships for risk management and insurance students,&rdquo; said <abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> Chancellor <strong>Rockne Freitas<\/strong>. &ldquo;Our program is the only one of its kind in the state. Together with <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>&#8217;s insurance industry, we are working to provide tomorrow&#8217;s insurance professionals with the skills they need to be successful in high-demand careers.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Underwriters Association of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> is committed to the risk management insurance and certificate program at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> to help develop and educate future insurance professionals,&rdquo; said <abbr>UAH<\/abbr> President Lauren Aoki. &ldquo;The insurance industry offers a wide variety of career options with great benefits.
