A group of 5 to 6 <abbr>UH<\/abbr> students, studying a variety of disciplines, are selected each fall semester. This small cohort receives mentorship and a wealth of networking and learning opportunities from <abbr>PACE<\/abbr> over the course of an academic year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why be a <abbr>PACE<\/abbr> entrepreneur?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive customized mentorship and guidance from a dedicated advisor<\/li>\n<li>Visits with local entrepreneurs and their startup companies<\/li>\n<li>Included in guest lists for special <abbr>PACE<\/abbr> events<\/li>\n<li>Invited to community group meetings, including <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Angels and <abbr>HiBEAM<\/abbr><\/li>\n<li>Networking opportunities with business professionals, entrepreneurs, angel investors and venture capitalists<\/li>\n<li>Fulfill your unique entrepreneurial dream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Upon completion of the requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive a $1,000 award<\/li>\n<li>Awarded a certificate of completion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who&#8217;s eligible?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Student must have a creative perspective and passion for entrepreneurship<\/li>\n<li>Student must have a desire to learn more about the entrepreneurial process<\/li>\n<li>Student must either want to start their own business, or work in a startup environment<\/li>\n<li>Nominee must be a current, classified University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> student<\/li>\n<li>Student may be from any <abbr>UH<\/abbr> campus, including community college campuses<\/li>\n<li>Student may be in any field of study<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to graduate students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information, visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/pace.shidler.hawaii.edu\/pe\"><abbr>PACE<\/abbr> entrepreneurs website<\/a>.
